FM Youth League
BASKETBALL
Players in grades 3–6 build basketball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship with two weekly practices and Saturday games. Practices begin the week of October 5 at Rustad Rec Center or Freedom Elementary, with games starting October 24 throughout the FM area.
Schedules will be provided before the season begins.
SESSION INFO
Practice Dates:
Two 50-minute practices held on Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursdays at Rustad or Freedom Elementary. Practices start Oct 5th between 5:00-8:00 PM.
Game Dates:
Games will be played on Saturday mornings and early afternoons starting October 24th.

Eval Dates:
Player evaluations will take place at Rustad on September 28th & 29th.

BEGINNERS
BASKETBALL
Get ready to bounce, pass, and shoot in our Basketball for Beginners youth program! Perfect for kids who are new to the sport or just starting to build their skills, this program focuses on teaching the fundamentals in a fun, encouraging environment.
Participants will learn essential basketball skills, including dribbling, passing, shooting, footwork, and basic game rules, through age-appropriate drills and activities. Our coaches emphasize teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship while helping each child progress at their own pace.
With energetic drills, supportive instruction, and plenty of opportunities to grow new skills, this program is a great way for young athletes to stay active, make friends, and develop a love for the game.
No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and we’ll take care of the rest!
