RUGBY (TAG)

Our 1-Day Contact Rugby Camp is the perfect introduction to the tackle version of rugby for kids in grades 3–6. Designed for players who are curious about contact rugby or ready to take the next step beyond touch, this camp emphasizes learning the game safely, confidently, and the right way.

Campers will learn proper tackling and contact techniques, body positioning, how to fall safely, and how to protect themselves and their teammates in contact situations. All instruction is age-appropriate and led by experienced coaches who prioritize safety, skill development, and positive reinforcement in a fun, supportive environment.

By the end of the camp, players will feel confident in the basics of contact rugby and prepared for future opportunities to join the Red River Rugby middle school team.

Register according to grade and school attending for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Equipment Needed:
Athletic clothing (shorts and shirt)
Athletic shoes (tennis shoes, soccer cleats and/or football cleats are preferred but not necessary – no baseball/softball or metal cleats)
